TEHRAN – The Judiciary spokesman said on Wednesday that the execution of oil tycoon Babak Zanjani is not being stayed for the restitution of his assets as he owes, especially to the Oil Ministry.

“We are still busy identifying the assets. The convict might also have objections to the identifications, which need consideration,” Qolamhossein Mohseni Ejei said, Fars reported.

However, he said according to law, if a convict tries to make up for his crime, he might receive commutation.
